David Mercado is a Christian Contemporary Pop artist from the South Bronx, NYC, whose music transcends boundaries with its unique blend of contemporary Christian and Gospel sounds infused with pop, hip-hop, and R&B influences.

David's music journey has been marked by remarkable achievements. He has opened for MaryAnne George of Maverick City and garnered over 11,000 streams this year alone. His music has reached listeners in more than 77 countries, including Germany, Brazil, India, and Mexico, creating an international fan base.

In July 2024, David released his debut EP, He’s Calling, which achieved over 1.88k streams in its first week. The standout track, “Can’t Wait,” gained immense traction with 6.86k plays and 1.29k unique listeners. His music has been featured on more than 109 playlists worldwide, showcasing his growing influence.

David's talents extend beyond performing; he collaborated with Joshua Wheatley, SongAh Chae, and Hugh Harsher to write, arrange, and produce Journey Worship NYC’s debut singles, “All The Days of My Life” and “Worthy To Be Praised.”

In December 2024, David celebrated the season by releasing his first Christmas single, Best Time of the Year, adding a festive touch to his growing discography.
